The Best Spot to Capture Tokyo Tower Head-On: Shiba Park!
Hi! I'm Izumi, a photo spot explorer. This time, I visited a park where you can capture Tokyo Tower head-on!
A Stunning View of Tokyo Tower: Shiba Park
This time, I'm introducing Shiba Park, a perfect photo spot where you can capture Tokyo Tower head-on. Shiba Park, established in 1873, is one of Japan's oldest parks.
Shiba Park is located in Minato Ward, near Tokyo Tower and adjacent to Zojoji Temple.
The nearest station, Toei Mita Line's "Shibakoen Station," is just a 3-minute walk away. Several other stations, including Toei Oedo Line's "Akabanebashi Station," are also within walking distance.
Capture Tokyo Tower from the Lawn Plaza!
At the entrance of Shiba Park, there is a large lawn plaza.
Here, tourists enjoying photography and locals relaxing can be seen spending their time leisurely.
From the lawn plaza, you can see the prominent Tokyo Tower along with the skyscrapers of Azabudai Hills in the background.
You can also enjoy the vast sky, and on sunny days, the blue sky serves as a perfect backdrop for Tokyo Tower.
Let's capture Tokyo Tower from this lawn plaza!
You can take photos of Tokyo Tower without any buildings obstructing the view!
When taking photos from the lawn plaza, it’s better not to get too close to Tokyo Tower. This way, the trees in front won’t hide the base of the tower, ensuring a clear shot.
Conclusion
Today, I introduced Shiba Park, where you can capture Tokyo Tower head-on.
When I visited just before Tanabata, there were tanzaku (wish strips) decorated in the park.
It might also be a great spot to photograph Tokyo Tower illuminated at night.
If this spot piques your interest, grab your camera and pay a visit!
